我们的生活又何尝不是这样呢?日复一日，年复一年，岁月在静静地流逝，似乎没留下痕迹;我们跟着岁月跑，一路上却印迹分明。
十八年，我留下了太多的欢笑。
爸妈又一次兴致勃勃地翻开了那本厚厚的相册，那里有着我十八年来的成长见证。用自己的双手双脚去模仿爸爸的每一个动作，滑稽的姿势常引得爸妈开怀大笑。看着一幅幅神态各异的照片，爸妈一脸的兴奋与欣慰，似乎现在的我依然是他们眼中那个天真、活泼的我。时间好像定格在了从前，那本发黄了的相册满载了我孩提时的幼稚与天真。
十八年，我留下了太多的泪水。
是在刚入初中得知分班考的成绩之后，我才明白自己再也不能像小学生一样满校园乱跑了，成绩意味着竞争，意味着成败。我的起点相对于他人是落后的，因此我要走的是一条布满泥泞、长满荆棘却只属于我的路。一路上，我摔倒了无数次，有几次甚至不想再爬起来。但老师的一句句鼓励、同学的一次次帮助，如同神奇般的药水，奇迹般地治好了我以为永远也无法愈合的创伤。泪水毫无保留地洒在那条长满荆棘的路上，可是当我又一次爬起，我发现，那些荆棘竟然开出了花。
十八年，我留下了太多的拼搏。
最苦的时候，是离梦想最近的时候。高中的节奏似乎又快了一个节拍，六门课的练习叠起来可以骄傲地盖过我的头，一题又一题，一本又一本，随着练习量的增加，我的乏味也加重了。看着班里那些举重若轻的同学潇洒地生活，我总会投去羡慕的眼神。可我也明白，我还没有资本如此潇洒，我还得继续埋头我的征途。厚厚的笔记本、题目不多却极有分量的错题集、被红色笔迹划得伤痕累累的作业本，为我保留了我奋斗的全过程，有些苦涩，却也充实。

at the end of the year ford checked with his engineers, and again they informed him they had found no way to carry out his orders.

they went ahead, and then, as if by a stroke of magic, the secret was discovered.
the ford determination had won once more!

the tibetan antelope kneeling on its knees today i am going to tell you a true story about a life-altering event that happened to an old hunter from tibet’s northern lands. early in the morning, the hunter saw a group of tibetan antelopes on grass hill near his tent. he rushed out of his tent and mounted his horse with his rifle. the antelopes all quickly ran away except one. a strong, fat one ran only a few steps and came back. it looked imploringly at him, stepped up towards him and then knelt on its knees with tears streaming down from its eyes. feeling softhearted for a flashing moment, the hunter did not pull the trigger. but after he shut his eyes, pulled the trigger and the antelope fell onto the ground in a kneeling position with discernible tears still on its face.
the old hunter restlessly cut the tibetan antelope open. what he had saw made him choke on his breath and the knife fell on the ground with a crash. he saw a baby antelope lying in the womb, surely dead. all of a sudden he realized why the antelope was strong and fat and why it heavily knelt before him and cried: it was imploring him to have mercy on its baby! the old hunter buried the antelope and its unborn baby together with his hunting rifle that day i will never forget this story. today i told it to more people and i’d like to point out: in the world the kneeling of loving mothers, whatever of human being or animal is sacred. lives of all kinds are equal. let us care about the nature, care about our life with our affection and respect to the life. hopefully we could live harmoniously, as part of nature.
