since the quality of honesty applies to all behaviors, one cannot refuse to consider factual information, for example, in an unbiased manner and still claim that one's knowledge, belief or position is an attempt to be truthful. such a belief is clearly a product of one's desires and simply has nothing to do with the human ability to know. basing one's positions on what one wants — rather than unbiased evidence gathering — is dishonest even when good intentions can be cited — after all even hitler could cite good intentions and intended glory for a select group of people. clearly then, an unbiased approach to the truth is a requirement of honesty.

价值观是人们心中的深层信念，是判断是非的标准，是行动遵循的准则。富强、民主、文明、和谐，自由、平等、公正、法治，爱国、敬业、诚信、友善，这是xx大对社会主义核心价值观的最新概括。那么诚信是什么呢?这让我想起了古代的一个故事。

曾子的妻子到市场上去，她的儿子要跟着一起去，一边走，一边哭。妈妈对他说：你回去，等我回来以后，杀猪给你吃。妻子从市场回来了，曾子要捉猪来杀，他的妻子拦住他说：那不过是跟小孩子说着玩的。曾子说：决不可以跟小孩子说着玩。小孩本来不懂事，要照父母的样子学，听父母的教导。

现在你骗他，就是教孩子骗人。做妈妈的骗孩子，孩子不相信妈妈的话，那是不可能把孩子教好的。曾子于是把猪给杀了。通过这个故事使我受益匪浅，发人深思!大家觉得呢?

记得我在一次考试中，有一道题目不会做。正想偷偷地看一眼书，又想这样考出来的成绩不是我真实的成绩，就打消了这个念头。后来试卷发下来，虽然分数不是第一名，但这是我真实的成绩。回家告诉妈妈以后，

妈妈表扬了我，说我做得对，我心里面也很高兴，促使我在平时的学习更加努力。

我们中国人常说：三岁看老。如果，小时候就弄虚作假，那么长大以后，做生意就会搞伪劣商品，做官就会贪污受贿，这样，将会受到法律的严惩。

诚信这个词在古代是与忠孝仁义同等重要，位置很高。诚信为本，诚信是立国之本，也是经商，做人之本。现在是一个包装盛行的时代，但也并不意味着我们可以丢掉诚信。

我们家有过这样一个故事。从前，我爷爷开了家酒店。虽然酒店开在很深很深的巷子里，但爷爷家酿的谷酒好，浓浓的酒香飘出巷子好远好远，许多路过附近的人，都不知不觉地被吸引来了。由于谷酒的物美价廉，一传十，十传百，人人夸好，生意兴隆，让许多商家羡慕得眼都红了。

有一天，我爷爷出去了，他让小伙计看店。小伙计偷偷在谷酒里掺了水，多卖了五块钱。爷爷回家后，小伙计得意地把秘诀告诉了爷爷，以为老板会高兴。谁知，爷爷一听，急得蹦了起来，气得脖子都红了，说：你把我们最珍贵的东西，出卖了啊!小伙计不明白。爷爷几乎是哭着说：你把squo;诚信squo;出卖了啊!果然，从此酒家的生意一天不如一天，再也不如以前红火，到酒家买酒的人越来越少。

后来，有位大伯去买酒喝，多给了小伙计酒钱，小伙计由于受到爷爷的教育，大伯。大伯很感谢，认识到诚信的可贵，把多余的钱退给了逢人就说这个酒家讲诚信，后来酒家的生意又越来越红火了。

诚信两个字不能丢!因为一个店铺也好，一个酒家也好，人才、资金，这些东西都可以从外面引进，唯独诚信不能引进，诚信只能靠自己。诚信就是支撑爷爷酒家发展的根本。

我将来也会是一个小伙计，我一定要记住诚信给人们带来的温情。要记住爷爷的伤心，绝不能做出让爷爷跺脚捶胸的事情，做出让江爷爷伤心的事情!做出让父老乡亲伤心的事情。

谈到这里，我想起了一百多年前，生活在哥尼斯堡一位叫康德的老人说过这样一句话：在我们人类的历史上，只有两样东西能让我们的心灵感到深深震撼：一个是我们头顶上灿烂的星空;一个就是我们内心崇高的道德法则。

for us,as a friend of others,it is our responsibility to help our friends when they are in trouble or faced with difficulties. each one has the different responsibily based on their roles but we must take it for granted that we are responsible for the society.
